In an interview with ISNA, Mojtaba Samimi said: "Some of the machines of phase 2 of Kashmar textile factory not only in Iran but also in the Middle East have not been registered yet and if there is, they have provided second batch from Turkey, after exploiting this phase, the highest production brand in the country." He stated that phase one of the factory was opened in 1370 with the best machines in the world at that time, adding: in this phase, direct employment is provided for 150 people and 7 tons of various types of cotton yarns in different sizes are produced daily.
The CEO of Kashmar Modarres Textile Factory stated: Phase 2 machines were also imported and installed at the height of sanctions. Although a few years ago we needed 20 billion Tomans of working capital to launch this phase, but because the bank did not pay on time and on the other hand Due to the fact that the imported production line and part of the raw materials are related to the dollar exchange rate, the need for working capital has now increased to 210 billion tomans.
Samimi added: "Although the bank has to pay the working capital at once, but because this does not happen, the textile industry always lags until the working capital is paid. National development and more than 2,000 billion rials) Rial investment will not work.
He reminded: due to the increase in the exchange rate, to complete the equipment at the end of the production line and the lack of working capital, the factory has been in disrepair for three years and has been abandoned.
The textile expert continued: "When the industrial project is launched, it has a schedule that if it does not move according to the plan, the problems will continue to increase."
He said: "Despite the fact that provincial and national officials have visited this factory many times and had several resolutions to solve the problems, but the problems still remain."
Samimi added: Phase 2 of Kashmar Modares textile factory has 14 production lines and will produce up to 20 tons of cotton yarn per day and a combination of cotton and synthetic fibers.
He lamented that the central bank has included us in the starred list, saying: "The bank wants to take the installments of the facilities that it has not completed."
The CEO of Kashmar Modarres Textile Factory stated: If the problems of the textile industry factory are solved, we will see the full operation of phase 2, with its launch, the number of employees of the textile factory will increase to 500 people.
He added that sanctions are another problem and said: "Although we have problems in importing parts and providing foreign exchange and other things, but we try to eliminate the shortcomings in any way possible."
Samimi said: cumbersome administrative bureaucracy and banking laws have created serious problems for the textile industry, although three years ago the price of cotton was 4,000 tomans, but today it is not possible to make a purchase with 30,000 tomans.
"It takes two years from the time the working capital is approved in the bank until it is implemented, so it no longer suffices for our one-week activity," he said.
